Job Summary

The Senior Merchandise Allocator is responsible to lead allocation and replenishment strategy across assigned categories, playing a key role in driving full-price sales, availability, and inventory efficiency across our retail channel. This person is responsible for executing allocation strategies and inventory plans that support the financial goals and product strategies for their area of responsibility. In this role, you’ll move beyond execution into ownership, shaping allocation strategy, influencing in-season trade decisions, and acting as a trusted partner to Planning, Buying, Retail Operations, and Supply Chain. You’ll balance data-led decision making with commercial judgement to ensure inventory is positioned to meet customer demand while supporting MINISO’s growth ambitions.

Essential Job Functions

Allocation Oversight:

  • Manage in-season replenishment and inventory for 350+ stores by Category, rebalancing to maximize sell-through, considering sales trends, store capacity, and visual merchandising requirements.
  • Partner with our planning team to keep the product pipeline flowing smoothly.
  • Fine-tune and adjust allocations to meet demand while minimizing overstock and out-of-stock situations.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure products reach the right places at the right time.
  • Weekly reporting and analysis to monitor the business and communicate weekly product performance and shifts in the business and react accordingly.
  • Oversee stock flow to ensure timely store fulfillment and correct SKU placement by Tier/Grade, while identifying and mitigating stock liabilities such as constrained inventory in top-performing categories and slow-moving product requiring promotional or markdown action.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Perform detailed analyses to identify actionable opportunities at the store level.
  • Develop and maintain weekly reporting on sales trends, shipping status, and allocation execution by store and category
  • Monitor stock-to-sales ratios and provide visibility to in-season inventory performance.
  • Support in-season inventory adjustments and maximize sales potential across all doors and channels.
  • Dive into sales forecasts, historical data, and upcoming events to ensure our products are where they need to be.

Post Season & Performance Analysis:

  • Provide post-season analysis to inform future allocation strategies and buying decisions.
  • Identify underperforming stores or product categories and recommend corrective actions.
  • Deliver insights and strategic recommendations to cross-functional partners.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, preferably with a specialization in Supply Chain Management.
  • Additionally, a minimum of 3 years or more substantial work experience in owning allocation strategy for multiple categories/regions.

Pay Range

USD $79,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
