Job Summary

The Area Manager oversees multiple retail stores within a designated district and reports to the District Manager. Responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, driving sales growth, and maintaining adherence to company standards, the Area Manager plays a critical role in the overall success of the district. This role involves frequent travel, team supervision, and strategic planning to achieve business objectives.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage day-to-day operations of stores within the assigned district area.
  • Utilize company reporting tools to analyze sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor Store Managers to build and maintain high-performing teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Conduct regular store visits to provide support, identify issues, and offer performance coaching.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with store teams to reduce shrinkage and overstock.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the rollout of marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to the District and Regional Manager.

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in retail management systems and analytics tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail management, with 2+ years in a multi-unit supervisory role preferred

Pay Range

USD $55,000.00 - USD $64,500.00 /Yr.
